Arizona basketball legend Bob ”Big Bird” Elliott, who followed Fred ”The Fox” Snowden from Ann Arbor, Mich., to Tucson in the early 1970s, comments about the upcoming Fireside Chat Series involving Julius ”Dr. J” Erving at Palo Verde High School (Jan. 16 at 6 p.m.). The series is part of the events coordinated by the African-American Museum of Southern Arizona of which Elliott is a co-founder.
